Zacapa 23 0,70l

79,00

Vol. of alcohol: 40%
Rum type: Dark.
Presentation: 70cl

View: Between mahogany and dark amber.

Nose: Aromas both sweet and honey, as of the American wood itself. Fruity, spicy, chocolate, dried fruit and vanilla notes.

Palate: Of great density and complexity, with a slight sweet touch. Keep memories of wood, spices, raisins and figs. The finish is long, soft, persistent and elegant.

Elaboration:

It is the result of a mixture of rums aged between 6 and 23 years. Something remarkable is that, instead of molasses, the so-called ''virgin honey'' is used, which is obtained from the first pressing of sugar cane. It ages through the Soleras System, using a series of barrels previously used to age bourbon and Jerez and Pedro Ximénez wines in the cold lands of the Guatemalan highlands, at an altitude of 2,300 m.
