View: Crystalline, rose gold-coloured
Nose: The nose opens with the freshness of citrus (grapefruit, bergamot) and then reveals elegant floral notes mixed with yellow peach and mango.
Palate: On the palate it is fresh and silky. Gaining momentum, it reveals aromas of kumquat and a mineral character that lead to a persistent and delicately spicy finish.
Pairing: Scallops, salmon marinated with dill, dishes with sweet and sour sauces.
Elaboration:
Listed by Le Figaro as the "Rolls-Royce" of Provence rosés. Marcel Ott acquired this Château in 1912. The estate is located in the upper area of the Var department, not far from Luc, in a terroir surrounded by olives and lavender, with calcareous soils and rocks in a microclimate with high levels of sunlight and sheltered from frost. It is a fine and elegant rosé, with interesting and varied nuances that will be greatly enjoyed in the glass.
