Elaboration:
The tequila production process takes place at the Hacienda Patrón. The agave was cultivated high in the mountains of Jalisco, a region that has perfect soil and climate, providing an incomparable balance. The agave reaches its maturity point in approximately eight years and the jimadores (growers) try to find and harvest only the blue agave that has the ideal sugar content. Subsequently, the piñas are crushed with a two-ton lava stone tahona wheel and a cylinder mill. The resulting mixture is fermented and aged in handmade barrels.
