View: Radiant amber colour.
Nose: Sweet and toasted aromas of honey, hazelnut and caramel. More secondary aromas of wild herbs and heather are felt.
Palate: Warm and powerful step although caressing and seductive. Round and creamy with a taste of ripe pears and honey followed by hints of vanilla and hazelnut and a bottom of butter. Rich and long lasting finish.
Elaboration:
Distillation in traditional copper stills of water, grain and malt from Strathisla. The youngest whiskey in the blend is aged for at least 12 years in oak barrels.
